Master dissertation

The master dissertation is a requirement for every candidate to obtain a master degree. The master dissertation is an original piece of research work. It aims to develop and strengthen the research capacity skills of the students. The student selects a topic and is given guidance by a supervisor. The master dissertation is expected to be in the form of an article that can consequently be submitted to a scholarly journal (which journal(s) to be decided together with the supervisor). The article should be followed by appendices containing the data collected, transcriptions, analyses, etc. so that examiners can adequately judge the scientific quality of the study.

In the second half of March all students will deliver a short presentation (6 credits) on the work they have already done towards their master dissertation. .
